Joe Muer Bloomfield Hills

Went to Joe Muer in Bloomfield Hills and the service, atmosphere and food were exceptional! Sean was our Server and was extremely professional and attentive! Our food was freshly prepared and delicious! I have been to this restaurant many times and will be back very soon. Many thanks to the Joe Muer Team for a most enjoyable dining experience!

A friend of mine & I randomly went in this past Saturday night. We were welcomed at the bar by Faith, & Kyle. Faith was so accommodating as well as Kyle! They answered all my friends’ questions & went above and beyond for our experience. This was unplanned & we were absolutely delighted by the service we received! After Faith was cut from the floor, another gentleman took over who was also phenomenal! (I apologize for not getting his name) he had a beard and was delightful! I thank you for such an amazing & welcoming, superb experience!!!

This is the 'muddled mint' drink I got. Rotten mint leaves. This means the bartender made this drink without noticing it and our server picked it up, held it, brought it to us and didn't notice it. I was not sure what 'muddled mint' was so I googled it to realize the black leaves were NOT muddled but in fact rotten. This caused me to completely lose my appetite and I should have just left but we stayed for the meal and it also was beyond sub-par. What really did it for me, though, was the server having the nerve to tell me 'he wouldn't charge me for that drink.' Serving a customer a drink with rotten food in it justifies, at the minimum, a free meal and a visit from management pleading for forgiveness. The atmosphere of the place was nice, there was live music which was nice and our bus boy was incredible -he was super attentive and on top of things whereas our server was not at all and at one point got snappy with me when I voiced my anger over being served this beverage which easily could have resulted in food poisoning.

There are so many descriptive words that could describe Joe Muer's but the first thing that comes to mind is amazing. The food was perfectly cooked, definitely in the top 5 best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at. Our server was exceptional and so knowledgeable at helping navigate the menu. They have a wide variety of wines for anyone's taste as well as any other type of drink you may want. The twin Tristan South African Lobster Tails were to die for, so mouth watering. If you want to impress a date, celebrate an anniversary, have a business meal or want a dinner to remember then this is the place to go.
